💼 Responsibilities
In the role of Transport Controller, you work with both traffic control and booking management for transports. You are a central part of the team and are responsible for ensuring that goods are transported efficiently and on time. The work involves handling bookings, optimizing routes, and ensuring that all shipments are carried out according to plan. You will be in daily contact with carriers, drivers, customers, and internal teams to coordinate transports and resolve any issues that arise during the day.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Handling bookings, optimizing routes, and ensuring all shipments are carried out according to plan.
- Responsibility for both traffic control and booking management for transports.
- Daily contact with carriers, drivers, customers, and internal teams via phone, email, and chat.
🔍 Education, experience, and personal qualities
- Completed upper secondary education.
- Good computer skills.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Experience as a transport or traffic controller.
